What's the Word?
Handcrafted and created with the utmost care, these journals are as unique as the words you will write in them. Crafted from recycled fabrics and vintage books, each piece is one-of-a-kind and inimitable.
The fabrics used to create book covers is sourced in two different ways. Firstly, from the waste fabric that would thrown out as scrap by garment makers. Secondly, it is sourced from second-hand and thrift shops, further adding to the unique features of each book.
Vintage books are stunning but unfortunately humidity, water damage, and time are not always kind. We source books that are no longer in their prime due to damage and give them a second chance. Not only does this keep these treasures out of the landfill but each book comes with history too. Bumps, bruises, and scratches tell a story of their life well read.

Hey there! I'm Siu, the hands behind The Storiest. I'm an avid fan of the written word from the classics to modern poets. I think that language and story are what connect us. From the stories that make us laugh to those that make us cry, family sagas and excellent puns; we are all touched by power of language.
